At eidrix, we are building technology to help runners understand how external factors like weather and terrain influence performance and how to adapt for better outcomes. MeteoPace is our flagship product, combining engineering precision with running expertise to give athletes actionable insights for race day and training.

I'm Phil Richardson, founder of eidrix and creator of MeteoPace. I trained as a Mechanical Engineer at Imperial College London and spent the past 16 years developing and leading product development projects across the automotive and construction industries in the UK and Central Europe. Along the way, I worked with world-class engineers to design optimized hardware platforms and systems.

Since COVID, I've deepened my interest in coding, and in April 2025 I started eidrix to bring these skills together and build products for runners. Now based in Switzerland, I'm applying an engineering approach that connects sports science, physics, physiology and meteorology to give runners the tools to better understand performance and adapt intelligently to conditions.

Our mission is clear: to give runners the knowledge and confidence to perform at their best, whatever the conditions.
